Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS, is a common digestive disorder that causes these symptoms.  Although we don’t know what causes IBS, there are strategies we can use to manage the symptoms.  

The Low FODMAP diet,  when implemented with the help of a FODMAP trained and experienced registered dietitian, is shown to improve symptoms in over 80% of people with IBS. 

Unfortunately, low FODMAP eating is not simple and can lead to nutritional deficiencies.  It is VERY important to work with a dietitian when starting the low FODMAP diet.
